OUR EXPERTS

A top-tier mental health team pioneering a new approach to family wellness

Our team of experts and advisors have hundreds of years of combined experience in the mental healthcare space. It is through their experiences and professional journeys that we recognize what works and what doesn’t. That’s why we’re creating a new way for families to experience mental healthcare - no waitlists and less worries.

Dr. Helen Egger

Meet Dr. Helen Egger, world-renowned child psychiatrist and our very own Chief Medical & Scientific Officer.

Dr. Egger has been in the field of children’s mental health for more than 30 years. She is an early childhood mental health expert, digital health expert, and prolific scientist—as well as a mother of four.

In translating her decades of research, Dr. Egger developed proprietary assessments of the common emotions and behaviors in early childhood and family stresses. It is through these assessments that we create the personalized care plans that adapt to the needs of your children and family.

Before Little Otter, she was the Division Chief for Child Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Director of the Child Study Center at NYU Langone Health.
