Alba Reyes, LCSW, is a bicultural and bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with 24 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, caregivers, and families across a variety of settings, including in-home, schools, clinics, and telehealth. She specializes in working with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, anger management, race and cultural identity, acculturation, cross-cultural issues, PTSD/trauma, and meditation, with a special interest in adolescent health, BIPOC communities, and Latinx culture. Alba’s practice focuses on the psychological and social well-being of the individual, and she is passionate about helping children and families by meeting them where they are and providing thoughtful care and guidance.
Alba’s therapeutic approach is tailored to the unique needs of each child, teen, and family she works with. She is committed to delivering culturally and linguistically sensitive, trauma-informed, and client-centered services, using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients develop stronger cognitive and emotional skills and improve their lives.
Outside of her clinical work, Alba enjoys spending time with her family and dancing Salsa with friends.
