Within her career, Jess has had the privilege of supporting the mental health needs of individuals in many facets. While in her undergraduate at Indiana University, she studied positive behavioral supports for juveniles in correctional facilities prior to working in a public school as both a Special Educator and Behavior Specialist. After earning her graduate degree through Ball State University, she became a BCBA and entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, directly working with families and children 18 months to 22 years diagnosed with Autism and other mental health needs. Prior to joining Little Otter, she also worked in executive management focusing much of her efforts towards coordinating with caregivers of children with unique behavioral needs, ultimately finding her true passion of providing direct support to caregivers here at Little Otter. Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cooking!
