Alicia Fahr, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has been in practice for over 20 years. Dr. Fahr has been working in higher education for almost 20 years as a faculty member in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. Her professional experience includes individual counseling, couple’s counseling, family systems therapy, and group therapy. Dr. Fahr specializes in trauma-informed therapies, which include, Somatic Experiencing, Tapping, Mindfulness, RET (rational emotive therapy), EFT (emotion-focused therapy), CBT, ACT, Art Therapy, Existentialism, and Transpersonal Psychology.
Dr. Fahr enjoys working with those who are struggling with relationship issues, grief and loss, motivation, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, family issues, chronic illness and chronic pain, sexual abuse, medical trauma, and PTSD.
Dr. Fahr enjoys spending time with her daughter, horses, donkeys, and Basset Hounds pups. She also loves doing art, building puzzles, and reading.
