Bahareh Shayegan, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 10 years of experience working with diverse populations across a variety of settings. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University, where she specialized in Latino Counseling. As a woman of color, Bahareh is especially passionate about supporting BIPOC communities and individuals from marginalized backgrounds. She enjoys working with children and teens of color, women of color, queer folx, immigrants, gifted individuals, highly sensitive people, individuals with ADHD, and creatives. She strives to provide an affirming and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Bahareh also holds a certification in spiritual life coaching and enjoys helping clients explore meaning, purpose, and alignment with their highest selves. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. She draws from a variety of evidence-based and expressive approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, art therapy, and experiential techniques, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs. Outside of her work, Bahareh enjoys dancing, drawing, spending time near the beach, and connecting with family and friends.
