Corina Cervantes, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 14 years of experience in the helping profession, supporting individuals across the lifespan—from young children to older adults. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to serving others, and she has spent much of her career in community mental health programs and wraparound services, providing individual therapy, family therapy, and parent coaching to support families in achieving meaningful change.
Corina specializes in helping children and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges, with a particular focus on emotional regulation, anxiety, and family dynamics. She enjoys witnessing her clients’ progress and is dedicated to supporting their growth through evidence-based practices. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and continues to pursue additional modalities to broaden her clinical toolkit and best serve her clients.
Known for her patience, empathy, and active listening skills, Corina believes that effective therapy requires flexibility and a willingness to explore new strategies. She partners with parents and caregivers to uncover the root of their child’s challenges, guiding them with compassion and tailored interventions. Her goal is to help families build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a more peaceful, fulfilling life at home.
Corina is bilingual in Spanish and is passionate about making mental health support accessible and culturally responsive. She believes it is never too late to seek help and is honored to walk alongside families on their journey to healing and growth.
Outside of her clinical work, Corina finds joy in spending time with her family and reconnecting with nature. She enjoys walking barefoot on grass, sand, or near water, as well as spending time outdoors taking photos of plants, people, and her child. She loves camping, stargazing while eating s’mores, and is always learning—setting a new personal goal each year. This year, she’s learning to play the piano.
