Diana Palmar, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 12 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across a range of educational and clinical settings. Her passion for working with youth began through in-home services with young children and expanded into education, where she worked as a substitute teacher across all grade levels—primarily with elementary-aged students. For the past eight years, she has focused on early intervention and mental health, providing care to children, teens, parents, caregivers, couples, and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Diana takes a holistic and family-centered approach to therapy, prioritizing the unique needs of each child while considering broader social, environmental, and cultural factors. Her work is rooted in the belief that parents are their child’s first and most influential teachers, and she partners with caregivers to foster strong parent-child relationships. Diana collaborates closely with families to implement practical, developmentally appropriate strategies that align with their goals and support lasting emotional growth and connection.
With a warm, team-oriented style, Diana guides parents and children through life’s challenges with compassion and a focus on sustainable change. Whether she’s supporting a family through early behavioral concerns or helping a child build confidence and regulation skills, her aim is always to improve quality of life and strengthen family dynamics.
Outside of her clinical work, Diana enjoys playing with her dog, exploring new restaurants with friends, dancing, painting, and gardening.
