Elizabeth M. Gendron, MA, BCBA, is a dedicated Parent Specialist with more than a decade of experience in behavioral health, education, and family support. At Little Otter Mental Health, she provides one-on-one virtual parent coaching, develops individualized care plans, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support children ages 0–14. Elizabeth specializes in equipping parents with evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior, strengthen family relationships, and foster emotional resilience in youth.
Elizabeth is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a strong academic foundation, holding a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California and advanced graduate training in Education Leadership with an emphasis in Behavioral Health at Grand Canyon University. Her diverse professional background spans clinical supervision in ABA services, directing student support programs in private education, and counseling in residential care settings. This breadth of experience allows her to integrate behavioral science, educational expertise, and compassionate coaching to meet the unique needs of each family.
A skilled communicator and advocate, Elizabeth excels in caregiver training, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the implementation of practical, research-based interventions. She is passionate about empowering parents with the tools and confidence to create meaningful change in their child’s development and overall well-being. Elizabeth is also an active member of professional organizations including CAL ABA, ABAI, and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, and remains committed to advancing the field through lifelong learning and leadership.
Elizabeth’s approach to parent coaching is grounded in the belief that caregivers are the heart of meaningful, lasting change within a family. She views parents as the experts on their children and collaborates with them as true partners in the therapeutic process. Her work is compassionate, reflective, and rooted in respect—creating a supportive space where caregivers feel heard, understood, and empowered. Drawing from her background in behavioral health, education, and family support, she takes a thoughtful, individualized approach with each family, focusing on their strengths, concerns, and daily realities. Through evidence-based strategies and practical, research-informed guidance, she helps caregivers build confidence, strengthen relationships, and foster positive behavior and emotional resilience in their children. She believes deeply that children thrive when caregivers have the tools, support, and clarity they need to lead their families, and her goal is to ensure every parent feels equipped, encouraged, and capable of creating meaningful change.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys reading, snowboarding, and running.
