Elizabeth Nguyen, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience supporting a diverse range of individuals, from elementary school children to high school students, adolescents, young adults, adults, caregivers, couples, and families. Throughout her career, she has supported clients through challenges such as depression, anxiety, intergenerational trauma, cultural struggles, LGBTQ+ issues, family dynamics, work-related burnout, and more. Elizabeth’s therapeutic approach integrates EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to create a supportive, collaborative space where growth can happen. Elizabeth’s approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. She tailors her methods to each individual’s unique needs, drawing from multiple therapeutic avenues. Whether working with children, adolescents, couples, families, or adults, she focuses on empowering clients to explore challenges and uncover pathways to growth and self-discovery. Elizabeth approaches therapy with flexibility, creativity, and cultural sensitivity, always honoring each client’s unique story. Humor is also an important part of her practice, providing a powerful tool for connection and healing. Elizabeth likens the therapeutic journey to working on a fixer-upper house: sometimes the foundation feels wobbly, the walls have character more than stability, and the weather can make things harder. With a toolbox full of strategies, skills, and a good dose of humor, she works alongside clients to roll up their sleeves, explore areas needing TLC, break down metaphorical walls, and rebuild a stronger foundation. Therapy is about taking one step at a time, finding humor in the process, and building something solid and lasting, no matter what life throws your way. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys hobbies related to nature, cooking, and art. She loves being at the beach, spending time with her dogs and partner, and exploring different sceneries and eateries. She also enjoys listening to music, with BLACKPINK as a favorite.
