Erin Gauvin, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who thoroughly enjoys working with children and families. Erin's approach is tailored to meet the needs of the whole family, integrating treatments grounded in empirical evidence and informed by lived experience.
Erin holds a B.A. in Social Work from Arizona State University and an M.S. in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, with a specialization in Trauma Treatment. Erin has received training in a variety of modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, and incorporates attachment and solution-focused theories. While drawing from these approaches, Erin believes that the most important element of therapy is building trust and collaboration to meet a family’s needs in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
Erin has had the opportunity to work with children and families in a variety of settings—hospitals, shelters, schools, and at home. From this diverse experience, Erin has developed the belief that almost any challenge can be navigated with companionship, creativity, and mutual support. Erin is excited about the opportunity to partner with families to help them thrive.
In addition to being a therapist, Erin enjoys amateur cooking, rockhounding, home repairs, and reading. Erin also values the importance of being a loyal friend.
