Hadeel Altharwa, M.Ed., BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has supported children and families across school-based, home-based, and clinic-based settings throughout her career. She has extensive experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis services and behavioral interventions to children ages 2–16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a range of mental, behavioral, and emotional needs. Prior to joining Little Otter as a Parenting Specialist, Hadeel designed and directed her own ABA clinic, where she led treatment planning, caregiver collaboration, and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure high-quality, individualized care. Her work reflects a commitment to culturally responsive, evidence-based practices that empower both children and their caregivers. In addition to her clinical leadership, Hadeel has contributed to the field through two publications and ongoing professional development efforts. She is passionate about supporting families through compassionate guidance, meaningful behavior change, and collaborative problem-solving. Hadeel approaches parent coaching with the belief that every caregiver brings unique strengths, insight, and wisdom about their child. She focuses on creating a trusting, supportive partnership where caregivers feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. By taking time to understand each family’s story, challenges, and hopes, she works alongside parents to develop strategies that feel realistic, meaningful, and aligned with their values. Hadeel’s style is gentle, encouraging, and deeply collaborative. She aims to help caregivers feel more confident and connected in their role, offering guidance that is both practical and compassionate. Above all, she believes that when caregivers feel supported and empowered, children have the foundation they need to grow, thrive, and experience lasting positive change.
