Jamie Morgan, BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with experience supporting children and families across home, school, and community settings. Born and raised on the East Coast, Jamie has been living in Southern California for nearly a decade. She has always been interested in helping and advocating for others, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s in Counselor Education from Western Connecticut State University.
Upon moving to California, Jamie began working for an ABA agency, where she designed and implemented programming for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, and provided parent and caregiver training and support. She later joined a public school district, where she generated behavior goals for a variety of students, supported and trained teachers and staff in implementing behavioral strategies, conducted assessments, and provided consultation and collaboration with IEP teams. Helping parents understand their rights and advocating for children’s needs in the school setting continues to be a passion of hers.
Jamie values the whole-family, comprehensive, and collaborative approach that Little Otter provides. She looks forward to learning from the families with whom she works and partnering with them to effect meaningful, lasting change. In addition, Jamie works as a non-attorney special education advocate, helping families navigate the IEP process and secure appropriate services and supports for their children.
