Jasmynne Spence, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and Registered Play Therapist with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. Her journey began in 2012 as a case manager working with at-risk youth, where her passion for direct clinical work took root. Since then, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care in both community mental health and child welfare settings. Jasmynne specializes in working with transracial adoptees and their families, integrating attachment-based and culturally responsive approaches to support identity development and healing. She brings advanced training in evidence-based models such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and combines this with child-centered play therapy, solution-focused interventions, and family systems work to tailor care to each child’s unique needs and family dynamic. Her clinical philosophy centers on the belief that children thrive when their caregivers are also supported, heard, and empowered. She works collaboratively with families to develop treatment plans that honor each person’s voice, recognizing that healing and growth are most effective when care is inclusive and relational. Jasmynne is deeply committed to fostering safe, affirming spaces where families can strengthen connection, resilience, and long-term emotional well-being. Outside of her clinical work, Jasmynne enjoys spending time at Disneyland, where she can often be found walking down Main Street with a churro in hand. She considers it a profound honor to walk alongside children and families on their journey toward healing and transformation.
