Libby Mattox, BCBA, is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who has had the unique experience of supporting children and families through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while balancing life as a military spouse. Libby began providing direct care to children with Autism after graduating from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Over the past five years, she has worked across three states in clinics, homes, and alternative school settings, conducting functional behavior assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Teachers, and Caregivers. Before joining Little Otter, Libby also provided clinical leadership to ensure compassionate and ethical care for children aged one to 17 with developmental disorders and mental health diagnoses. After exploring various roles and environments, she has found her passion in supporting caregivers at Little Otter.
Libby takes a personalized and caring approach, focusing on each family’s strengths and needs to build practical skills for daily life. She works hand-in-hand with parents and caregivers, providing tools, guidance, and support to help them confidently use strategies at home. Dedicated to clinical excellence and strong connections with the families she serves, Libby values teamwork and meaningful results for every child and family. She celebrates all progress, big or small, and collaborates to create plans for lasting success.
Libby earned her degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas and enjoys supporting and building connections with other military families, embracing the unique challenges and strengths that come with the lifestyle. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, searching for shark teeth at the beach, taking walks with her two beloved golden doodles, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
