Marcie Manis, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings. Her clinical background includes early intervention programs for children ages 0–8, preschool settings during her practicum, crisis response services in community mental health, and school-based programs focused on addressing academic and behavioral challenges.
Marcie specializes in treating anxiety, ADHD, and other behavioral and emotional concerns using evidence-based approaches. Her primary clinical orientation is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she also integrates elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based interventions, and mindfulness practices to tailor care to each child or teen’s individual needs. Her person-centered approach ensures that therapy remains responsive, flexible, and aligned with each client’s developmental stage and therapeutic goals.
Marcie places a strong emphasis on collaboration with caregivers, believing that understanding family dynamics and building a trusting therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful progress. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where both children and parents feel supported, heard, and empowered. Her work is guided by openness, compassion, and the belief that healing occurs through connection and mutual understanding.
As a parent herself, Marcie deeply values the importance of self-care and balance. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time in nature, off-roading, boating, camping, and diving into books and research that expand her knowledge and curiosity.
