Maria Cappetta, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master's Degree at Pepperdine University. During her training, she gained valuable experience supporting clients of all ages in a Community Counseling Center and adolescent students at a College Preparation Academy. Her career is built on a passion for helping vulnerable populations, including her extensive work with at-risk children and families in an Early Intervention Outpatient Program. She uses her diverse background to provide comprehensive care tailored to each client's unique needs.  Maria enjoys working with children & teens. She seems to have a natural ability to connect with them, offering a playful environment where they can feel free to explore their feelings. She supports young clients in learning self-regulation and communication skills, while working through their emotions in a way that feels natural for them. Maria enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and taking walks on the beach with her pup, Benjamin. As a clinician, Maria is committed to empowering families to build strong, healthy relationships. Her professional focus on child development was inspired by the profound experience of having her own daughter, which gave her a deep, personal understanding of the parent-child connection. Maria works to create a supportive space where both children and parents can thrive.
