Marie Albertson, LPCC, has worked with individuals, couples, and families for over 10 years specializing in youth age 5-20. Some highlights of her career include working as the primary therapist on a WISe (wrap around with intensive services) team treating youth with severe ED diagnoses, working with first generation college students, and working with youth in a faith based context. She is excited about working with both children and families at Little Otter. Marie's therapeutic approach stems from the idea of, "Nothing about me, without me," desiring to empower youth to have a voice in their treatment while encouraging them to reach their next goal at whatever level is appropriate for them. Marie works with each family to celebrate the family's strengths and reach the family's goals. She strongly believes that each person can reach their next best goal and that we all have a unique gift to share with the world. Outside of work, Marie likes to create pottery and ceramics, volunteer with local community organizations, and her new obsession is TopGolf.
