Mayra Ornelas, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California with over ten years of experience working with children and families. She earned her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge.
Mayra has extensive experience working with children and families to address a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and adjustment disorders. She is trained in evidence-based practices such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Managing Adaptive Practice (MAP). Additionally, Mayra is a graduate of the Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship Program.
Mayra is a firm believer that development occurs within the context of relationships, and she views it as a privilege to support children and families on their relational journey.
