Meg Petrillo, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with over 11 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. Throughout her career, she has worked in individual and group settings across a variety of community-based outpatient programs, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Meg is well-acquainted with the challenges that clients and families face on a daily basis, and she takes a holistic approach to therapy, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing. She works with individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, self-confidence, relationship dynamics, and school-life balance. Meg helps clients and families heal together by teaching age-appropriate emotional regulation and communication skills, empowering them with the tools to thrive and grow emotionally stronger as a unit.
Meg’s therapeutic approach is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, where she works compassionately and respectfully with children and families to identify their strengths, goals, and vision for their best lives. She is committed to helping each client navigate their healing journey and believe in themselves along the way. Meg earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University and her Bachelor’s Degree from East Stroudsburg University. She is also a certified health coach, holding a certification from MindBodyGreen.
Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending time with family, pursuing health and wellness activities, and exploring ways to support holistic well-being in her own life.
