She specializes in trauma-informed crisis intervention and ongoing case management, with a particular focus on families and young adults involved in the Child Welfare System. Nicolette is dedicated to helping families overcome trauma and adversity by providing strengths-based screening, assessment, and treatment tailored to each family’s unique needs. Her clinical expertise includes Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and she prioritizes centering the voices of those she works with to guide treatment collaboratively. In her practice, Nicolette emphasizes building on the inherent strengths of children and families to foster resilience and success. She partners closely with families to identify their goals and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their priorities. Nicolette values creating trusting, respectful relationships with both children and their caregivers to promote healing and growth. Outside of work, Nicolette enjoys reading, playing Pokémon games, taking walks, and spending time at the beach or poolside.
