Paige Clarke, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families, primarily in school-based settings. Since earning a Master’s of Social Work from Tulane University, Paige has worked directly with children and their caregivers by providing social-emotional education, countless group and individual therapeutic interventions, and serving as both a School Social Worker and a school-based Mental Health Specialist. In these roles, she has navigated Special Education and Exceptional Children programs, first in New Orleans and more recently in North Carolina. Paige’s clinical focus includes play-based therapy techniques, social-emotional education, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She firmly believes in the power of positive attachment and continually works to provide this for her clients. Guided by the belief that therapy begins with meeting each client where they are in their readiness for change, Paige prioritizes building strong, authentic, and collaborative relationships with children and caregivers. She often uses humor in sessions, enters a child’s world through play, and works to see experiences from the child’s perspective. As both a clinician and a parent, Paige values the partnership with parents and caregivers and strives to “work herself out of a job,” helping families move toward self-determination and independence. She provides direct support, psychoeducation, and child development education to connect presenting challenges to the family system. Above all, she never underestimates the power of listening and the validation it provides. Outside of her clinical work, Paige enjoys spending time with her husband, Sam, and their two young children, Ellis (4) and Ivy (3 months). She also finds peace and joy in sewing, knitting, and making things with her hands.
