Rachel Phillips, BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with nine years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and their families in creating meaningful, lasting change. She is especially passionate about helping parents and caregivers navigate challenging behaviors and complex situations with their children, believing that lasting change begins at home. Rachel finds purpose in strengthening the parent-child relationship as a foundation for growth and brings a wide range of evidence-based strategies that can be tailored to meet each family’s unique needs. She enjoys working directly with parents, offering practical guidance and collaborative support to help them feel more confident and connected in their role. Rachel thrives in one-on-one settings, finding actionable, personalized solutions that fit into each family’s lifestyle and support long-term success.
A neurodiversity-affirming practitioner, Rachel takes a holistic, compassionate approach to treatment. She does not believe in “normal,” instead advocating for a world that embraces and accommodates the full range of the neurodivergent experience. Her work is rooted in open communication, prioritizing helping parents understand their children’s behaviors by exploring the “why” behind them with empathy and curiosity. Rachel draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support families in aligning their actions with their values, even in the face of challenges, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where parents can express concerns, reflect openly, and feel empowered in their journey.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her cats and dogs, reading, going on walks, and binge-watching reality TV. She describes herself as a true homebody.
