Sarah Stevens, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with children and families. From the beginning of her career, she has found it especially rewarding to equip families with tools for better anxiety, mood, and behavior management, while helping build lasting confidence in their own abilities. She applies evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client’s needs, with extensive expertise in exposure therapies to address obsessive-compulsive symptoms, social anxiety, panic symptoms, and phobias. She focuses on identifying the “super powers” in the brain to help clients form a positive self-concept, recognizing that strengths are just as important as challenges in the healing process. Outside of work, her two cats and little Meyer’s parrot occasionally join sessions, contributing their social and mostly well-behaved presence. Together, they create a supportive team to help clients achieve their therapy goals. She earned her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology in 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
