Yessica Rodriguez Sosa, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience in the field of social work and seven years of direct clinical practice across diverse settings. Her work has focused on supporting children, families, and adults navigating complex mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma, and safety-related behaviors. Yessica holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University and has extensive experience working with children and families impacted by trauma, justice system involvement, and chronic mental health or medical conditions. She brings both clinical and personal insight to her practice, utilizing a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. Yessica is dedicated to a holistic, client-centered approach that honors the unique background, strengths, and needs of each individual and family. She prioritizes building safe, authentic, and collaborative therapeutic relationships, with a focus on developing personalized treatment plans that best support the child and their care network.
