Ana Gallardo, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, and trauma-related experiences, with particular expertise in working with women, children, and adolescents who have experienced sexual abuse, childhood trauma, postpartum depression, and relationship challenges.
Ana’s therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety disorders and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and PTSD. She emphasizes helping clients build practical skills to manage symptoms, develop healthy coping strategies, set and maintain boundaries, and strengthen self-confidence. Her work is rooted in the belief that, while past experiences cannot be changed, individuals have the capacity to heal, grow, and move forward in meaningful ways.
In her sessions, Ana prioritizes creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative environment. She works closely with clients to understand their strengths, challenges, and goals, fostering trust and rapport while guiding them toward measurable, lasting change. Her focus on early intervention and trauma-informed care reflects her commitment to supporting long-term emotional well-being for both children and families.
Outside of work, Ana enjoys spending time with her family at the beach.
