Brittney Velazquez, LMFT, has over eight years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, caregivers, and families across diverse settings, including community mental health, hospice care, assisted-living facilities, adult day care centers, home-based services, schools, and other community environments. Throughout her career, she has provided compassionate, trauma-informed care, creating a safe space for healing and growth. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master’s degree from Vanguard University of Southern California. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, Brittney specializes in Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She also incorporates Motivational Interviewing and strength-based strategies to empower individuals and families, foster resilience, and promote positive, collaborative change.
Brittney is pleased to offer therapy services in Spanish for those who feel more comfortable communicating in that language.
