Elizabeth Kuchakhchian, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 13 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families across community mental health and private practice settings. She has extensive experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Elizabeth has also supported clients in inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers and offers specialized care for mothers and new parents, guiding them through the complex emotional, relational, and identity shifts that accompany early parenting. Elizabeth integrates a combination of evidence-based and psychodynamic approaches in her work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and strengths-based, experiential techniques. She also utilizes Parent Management Training (PMT) to collaborate with caregivers, empowering families to set meaningful treatment goals and fostering sustainable growth. Her approach emphasizes that caregivers are the experts on their children, and she works to build authentic, reflective, and compassionate partnerships that promote both individual and family resilience. Elizabeth is deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. She tailors each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual or family, combining practical strategies with deeper insight into emotional patterns to promote lasting change. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies and shows, and spending quality time with loved ones.
