Megan Swinford, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. She holds a Doctorate in P-12 Educational Leadership and a Master’s in Social Work, both from California State University, Fullerton. Megan takes a strength-based and culturally sensitive approach to therapy, supporting families navigating crisis, trauma, and complex situations. With professional experience at a children’s hospital, Megan utilizes a family systems approach in her work with children. She has worked closely with children facing complex medical and/or mental health challenges and has experience leading parent support groups and social skills groups for children. Megan’s role as a mother to 4-year-old twins has further deepened her understanding of the challenges families face in the mental health, educational, and medical sectors. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and volunteering.
